Business Development Manager – MICE & Groups

We’re now hiring a Business Development Manager – MICE & Groups to join our dynamic European team. This role will ideally be based from Berlin, Frankfurt or Vienna. (CVs to be submitted in English only please).

We would love you to have:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in hotel or aparthotel sales, with a strong focus on MICE and/or groups
Demonstrable experience in the German-speaking market (essential)
Fluency in English and German
Proven track record in proactive business development and pipeline generation
Strong network within the MICE / agency landscape in the DACH region
Commercial mindset with the ability to convert opportunities into revenue
Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, Opera, IDEAS, Agency360 or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
A fiercely proactive and can-do attitude
A willingness to travel when needed – this role will involve frequent travel within Germany and Austria
What you can do for us:
· Act as a key commercial contact for MICE agencies and group organisers across the DACH region, building strong and lasting relationships
· Proactively generate new MICE and group business across multiple destinations within the portfolio
· Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline of event, trade fair and group opportunities
· Position Staycity and Wilde as preferred partners within the MICE and group segment
· Represent the company at trade shows, networking events and industry platforms
· Work closely with local sales teams and operational teams to ensure strong conversion and successful delivery
· Lead and support sales activities across the region, including roadshows, presentations and client engagement initiatives
· Ensure timely and competitive proposals in collaboration with internal teams, with a clear focus on revenue and profitability
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline and performance within CRM systems
· Continuously identify new business opportunities and contribute to the overall growth of the segment
